That is what I was talking about by more expensive parts and not only technology. Last I checked aluminum is more durable and more EXPENSIVE than plastic. The 15" quad core i7 4GB RAM with Thunderbolt (Intel's LATEST I/O technology) is a little over $1700. So the newest Intel I/O port is already integrated into an Apple computer - that isn't behind technology at all - that would be ahead of technology. If you didn't realize Intel made Thunderbolt - not Apple. Which is the reason there are no drives yet - because the technology is so NEW.
I will use what aggravates you the most as my example: Thunderbolt came out with last months MBP at the same time the technology was released to developers. The products are not overpriced and they are not behind in technology.

You are an absolute Windows fanboy and apparently become very angry when someone disagrees with you or promotes a Mac product with enthusiasm (not to be confused with fanboyism).

The day that Apple lets me down with their hardware and OS I will leave, but at this point Dell, IBM, HP, and Windows have all let me down more times than my Mac OS and hardware have. You just keep your viruses, spyware, and OS issues - and I will have a much better running system because OS X is based on Unix and Unix is awesome and rock solid. The fact that you completely disregard Mac for all purposes displays a lack of knowledge yourself and some vendetta against Apple. I have USB 3.0 and it still isn't fast enough for me when editing extremely large files. Anyways, it is exciting technology for me because I would love to have that high of a transfer rate.
It is in development and will be a great thing when it comes out - I expect drives by the summer. There are NO thunderbolt drives at all because the technology was release one month ago. No one can say anything positive about Mac without being attacked and finally called a fanboy. And here comes the Apple fanboy comment - I was waiting for it.
